No Class Today...

Hello and Welcome to my blog! My name is Rebekah Thomas and I am a freshmen in college. I am starting this blog to document my first year in college and out on my own. I really hope you enjoy reading about my life :D Some of my blogs may be very short, because I can only come up with so much to write! If you have any ideas of what you would like to read about, or if you have any questions about anything I write, do not hesitate to leave a comment or e-mail me. My address is clarinetdm12@gmail.com

My day started very early, well for me anyway. I woke up right at 8 am and took my morning shower. I was all ready to leave for class right at 9 am, and my class starts at 10 am. The reason why I was up so early was because I had to print my homework and handout for S100 at the library. I felt like such an over-achiever when I got to class and I was the second one there, so I took a victory break to the restroom. When I came back to the class room, I noticed more people were pouring in, and then I heard a woman going ballistic on her cell phone. She informed me that we did not have class today, because the professor was not feeling well. Our professor sent the message at 9:03 am. I stayed in the classroom for awhile with other students to warn incoming students that we did not have class today. Many got so upset, I thought they were going to cry or just have a total mental meltdown. I felt very bad for some of them, because most of them drove an hour or more just to come to the class, and the reason why they did not know we didn't have class was because they were driving at 9:03.
This probably wouldn't have annoyed me soo much , if it hadn't have happened before. The very first day of classes the same professor sent an e-mail out at 1 am saying that we wouldn't have class until Wednesday. She also hadn't posted the syllabus until that night. It just really grinds my gears!!! I am paying to take this class, and so far I have attended it more than the professor!!I wouldn't have taken this class had it not been required. I do feel like I am learning something from the class, but I can't learn if there isn't a professor! Ugh!

I really don't want to leave this post on a negative note.

Happy Talk Like a Pirate Day!! AAARRGGHHH! It's a national holiday if you didn't know! Post it on your calendars for next year, so you don't look silly when everyone else sounds like they have skirvy! AAARRRGGGHHH sorry for me ranting in this post! I hope 'yea don't hold it against me other post! Till next time ;)

I see this face, and I'm better :D
